PTA & School Governors

Functions of the Governing Body

Regular meetings have been held of the full governing body and of the sub-committees. At each full meeting the governors received and considered the Headteacher's written report on the school and its work. A number of wider issues were brought to the governor's attention under the heading 'County Committee Report'. Minutes of all these meetings are available at the school for anyone who wishes to read them.

The governors have attended a number of functions at the school and have given assistance and support to the school as and when required.

PTA Meetings

We are fortunate at our school to have a Parent Teacher Association (PTA) that is and has been an integral part of the school community for a number of years. In its time the PTA has raised thousands of pounds, which has been spent on equipment and resources to enhance our children’s education experience and the school’s facilities. With your support we will continue to do so.

All families are automatically members of the PTA when their child joins our school. All parents and members of the school community are encouraged to get involved, even if they only have a small amount of time available. The PTA exists to provide closer links between home and school and it is an excellent way to bring staff, parents and friends together socially in support of the school, working towards a common goal.
