World Book Day:

All pupils came to school today dressed as their favourite characters from a book. We saw some children dressed as Sali Mali, some as Cruella Deville, Where's Wally, Disney characters and many more.

The pupils enjoyed reading different books during the day and enjoyed a reading session with some of the school governors.

Some year 6 pupils went to read with children in the reception classes and we enjoyed a whole school assembly where the best dressed pupils were awarded with a prize.

We wrote a whole school poem based on the title 'Llyfrau' (Books) which was read out by Miss Heledd Williams in the assembly.

The pupils all received a world book token to buy a book published especially to celebrate this day.
