The New Nursery Building:

The New Nursery Building:

2nd September 2014

Here are the arrangements for the next few weeks:

Unfortunately there has been a delay to the installation of the new Nursery classroom. Due to this delay there will be a temporary cabin for the Nursery children on the Junior yard for the next three weeks. There will be no access into the school through the side door. This area will be fenced off from Thursday the 4th of September until the work has been completed.

Two members of staff will be on duty from 8.40am on the Junior yard to supervise the pupils who travel to the school by bus or taxi. Please ensure that all pupils arrive on site by 8.50am. They will be led to their classrooms at 8.50am by their teachers/teaching assistants. This ensures that all the pupils are in their classroom by 9am (registration) and prepared for their lessons. Any pupils who are late (after 9am) must be escorted to the office by their parents/guardians so their lateness can be recorded. If a school bus is late on any day the pupils will not receive a late mark.

Nursery pupils will be met by their teacher at the main entrance at 9am and 1pm and escorted to their classroom.

Parents/Guardians should collect them at the main entrance at 11.30am and 3.30pm.
Foundation Phase children will be led out to the Junior yard by 3.20pm and Junior Department pupils by 3.30pm.

In order for the teaching staff to have enough space to organise their class and to ensure that every child goes home safely please ensure that all parents/guardians wait at the back of the yard (the area by the play equipment) at home time.

Thank you for your co-operation,
Edward Jones
Headteacher
