Reading Corner Competition:
15th March 2016
Over the last few weeks, each class has been designing and developing its reading corner.
One of our priorities as a school this year is to encourage pupils to read a wide range of literature. On Friday, March 11th, Jonathan Rees from the EAS came to judge the reading corners and to choose the best ones. He said it was a very hard competition to judge as there was a wide range of reading corners, from a beach to a jungle and from a Hogwart's cave to Roald Dahl's cave. Well done to everyone.
Here are the results:
Foundation Phase:
First: The Reception classes.
Second: Miss Hughes' class.
Key Stage 2:
First: Miss Faulknall and Miss Wena Williams' reading corner.
Second: Miss Passmore.
Well done to everyone. The winners will receive book vouchers to spend on books for the class.
Da iawn.
