Roald Dahl Day:

Today, we were celebrating Roald Dahl's 100th birthday at Ysgol Gymraeg Cwmbrân.
The pupils dressed up in a number of different characters from George to the BFG, from Sophie to Miss Honey and from Charlie Bucket to Verruca Salt. The pupils all looked brilliant in the assembly this morning. Pupils were awarded with certificates for their creative outfits at the end of the day.
Year 6 enjoyed giving the rest of the school a lesson today. Three pupils were allocated to each class and all gave a presentation on Roald Dahl and set a task of creating a dream jar for all of the pupils.
The pupils took part in a number of different activities today and all worked very hard.
