Welsh Pattern of the week at Ysgol Gymraeg Cwmbrân:

23rd September 2016

The Literacy Team has been busy forming a list of Welsh language patterns to use in school every week.

By introducing a Welsh language pattern every week, our aim is for the pupils to learn and use correct language patterns to improve the standard of their language in general.

The team has set one pattern of the week for the Foundation Phase children and one for Key Stage 2 pupils each week. The pupils who are heard using these language patterns correctly each week will receive a language token and the points will go towards the house: Henllys, Twynglas, Llwyd or Maen.

The Pattern of the Week next week are:

Foundation Phase: Bore da / Prynhawn da
Key Stage 2: Oes .... gyda ti? Oes / Nac oes

Diolch / Thank you.
