Here are the arrangements for this week at Ysgol Gymraeg Cwmbrân:

There is no specific colour for the nursery this week.

Language pattern of the week:
Foundation Phase children: The names of different colours.
Key Stage 2 pupils: Es i / Est ti / Aeth e / Aeth hi

Monday:

Pontypool Urdd Club for pupils in years 3-6.
This club is run in St. James Lower Hall, Hanbury Road, Pontypool between 4:30 and 6 every Monday night for just £1 a session.

Tuesday:
Pupil of the week assembly.
09:10 in the school hall.

Miss Broad's class trip to Pontypool Museum.
The pupils should wear their school uniform - they'll be back in time for school dinner.

Cooking club for year 2 Miss Hughes' class. 3:30 - 4:30. £1.

Choir practice from 3:30 - 4:30.

Football Tournament at Cwmbrân Stadium.
The tournament is in the morning but the pupils will need a packed lunch please.
(Those taking part have received a letter. The pupils can come to school dressed in their P.E. kit.)

Wednesday:
London Choir practice at the Riverfront, Newport.
The pupils should wear their school uniform and they will need a packed lunch please.

Welsh lessons for parents in the school library. 09:00-11:30.

Urdd club for year 3 and 4 pupils until 4:30.

Creative writing club years 5 and 6 until 4:30.

Thursday:

Thanksgiving / Harvest Assembly at 2pm.
We're kindly asking for a donation of tins for the food bank.
(See letter for details.)

Swimming lesson for Miss Broad's class.

Ffa La La company will be holding a number of creative and musical workshops for the Foundation Phase pupils today.

Rugby club for year 4, 5 and 6 pupils until 4:30.

Fitness club for year 4, 5 and 6 pupils until 4:30.

PTA Disco:
The PTA is arranging a school disco in the school hall between 6-7:30.
Come along to the school hall to support. £1 entry.

Friday:

Violin lesson for year 2 - Miss Hughes' class between 09:10 and 10:10.

Hockey lesson for year 6 pupils.

End of half term. The pupils will break up for a week of half term. School will begin on Monday, October 31st.
