Here are the arrangements for next week at Ysgol Gymraeg Cwmbrân:

Language pattern of the week:

Verbs e.g. Cerddais i, Cerddaist ti, Cerddodd e/hi, Cerddon ni, Cerddoch chi, Cerddon nhw.

Band of the week is 'Daniel Lloyd and Mr Pinc'.
We will be listening to the band's songs in the class this week, including 'Eldon Terrace' and 'Goleuadau Llundain'.

After school clubs will restart next week.

Monday:

Pontypool Urdd Club for pupils in years 3-6.
This club is run in St. James Lower Hall, Hanbury Road, Pontypool between 4:30 and 6 every Monday night for just £1 a session.

Tuesday:

Year 6 drone workshops.
The pupils will be using their coding skills to control and fly a drone.

Sewing club for year 3 pupils. 3:30 - 4:30.

Choir practice from 3:30 - 4:30.

Wednesday:

Scientist visiting year 5 to hold a workshop on expeditions.

** The Launch of the Welsh Language Charter in school. **

Welsh Charter Day:
The pupils can wear red, white and/or green clothes to school today.
(We're kindly asking for a donation of £1; half towards the Urdd in Gwent and half towards this year's charity of the year.)

Open Afternoon to launch the Welsh Charter. 2 - 4.
There will be many stalls in the hall and a stall providing hot drinks and a Welsh cake.

Welsh lessons for parents / guardians in the school library. 09:00-11:30.

Ffa La La music and creative workshops for the nursery and reception children.

No Urdd club as there is an open afternoon until 4.

No Creative Writing Club for years 5 and 6.

Thursday:

Swimming lesson for Miss Broad's class.

Football club for year 4, 5 and 6 pupils from 3:30 - 4:30.

Fitness club for year 4, 5 and 6 pupils from 3:30 - 4:30.

Friday:

Clwb Hwb during lunch time for KS2 pupils.

Violin lesson for Miss Hughes' class. (09:15 - 10:00)

Hockey lesson for year 6 pupils.

Saturday:

Urdd Swimming Gala final round in Cardiff.
Good luck to both pupils competing in the Urdd Swimming Gala today.
