Ysgol Gymraeg Cwmbrân's Typing Competition:
13th January 2017
On Wednesday, February 15th, we will be holding a typing competition in each class from year 1 to year 6.
We will be using 2type within Purple Mash (2pop and falling letters) to see how fast each pupil is at typing. The pupil with the highest score from each class will win and will then go on to the final round where we will crown a winner from the Foundation Phase and one from Key Stage 2.
Things to practise at home and in school:
Over the next few weeks, you should practise your typing skills at home and in school. When typing, try to use your left hand for the left side of the keyboard and your right hand for the right side of the keyboard.
Practise writing the alphabet quickly; write your name (including capital letters when needed); write your address, Ysgol Gymraeg Cwmbrân etc. Practise writing as many words and sentences as possible.
