Language pattern of the week:

The correct use of ‘yw’, instead of ‘yn y’ e.g. ‘hwn yw fy motel’, not ‘hwn yn fy motel’.

Band of the week:

Band of the week is ‘Yr Ods’.
We will be listening to ‘Y bêl yn rowlio’ and ‘Nid teledu oedd y bai’.

Monday:

Test for pupils in years 2 - 6 - this will be the last one.

Tuesday:

Pupil of the week assembly. (09:10 in the school hall.)

Choir practice after school. (3:30 - 4:30.)

Cooking lesson for year 3 pupils from 3:30 - 4:30.
(A letter has been sent home.)

Wednesday:

Welsh lessons for parents / guardians in the school library. 09:00-11:30.

Urdd Club for pupils in years 3 and 4 from 3:30 until 4:30.

Thursday:

PC Thomas will be holding a workshop on drugs with year 6 pupils, following the drama 'Wings to fly'.

Torfaen's Road Safety Officer will be holding workshops with year 1 children, based on road safety.

Swimming lesson for Miss Griffiths' class.

Netball club for pupils in years 4, 5 and 6. (3:30 - 4:30.)

Football club for pupils in years 4, 5 and 6. (3:30 - 4:30)

Friday:

Pupils in years 2 to 6 will be able to enjoy a fun day today, celebrating their hard work.

Violin lesson for Mrs Dalgeish's class. (09:10 - 10)

Clwb Hwb during lunch time for KS2 pupils.

Hockey lesson for year 6 pupils.
