Year 5 and 6 trip to Cilfynydd Water Centre:

The pupils had an excellent day working along the river. The morning's task was measuring the speed of the river and researching into the different creatures living in the river Taf. The pupils were then able to measure the pollution levels in the river.

In the afternoon, the pupils looked at the infiltration system and how the water is filtered and purified.

Mrs Haman's class and Miss Williams' year 5 pupils will be going on the trip tomorrow.

Thanks to Mr Bridson for organising the trip; the pupils thoroughly enjoyed it.
