Language pattern of the week:

The difference between 'oedd' and 'roedd''.

e.g

Y darn canu oedd y gorau. (The singing piece was the best.)
Roedd llawer o bobl yno dros y penwythnos. (There were many people there over the weekend.)

Band of the week:

Band of the week is 'Calfari'.
We'll be listening to 'Gwenllian' and 'Erbyn hyn' in school.

There is no colour of the week for the nursery children.

Chess club during lunch break for year 5 and 6 pupils.
(12-12:45 in Mr Bridson's class. A letter has been sent home.)

Welsh lessons in school today for parents / guardians with 'Learn Welsh Gwent'
(9:15 - 11:15 in the school library.)

Urdd Club after school for year 3 and 4 pupils until 4:30.

Please come along for an introduction to the Welsh language charter; to hear about our targets for the year and come along for a cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit!

Rugby club after school until 4:30 for year 4, 5 and 6 pupils.

Netball club after school until 4:30 for year 4, 5 and 6 pupils.
