Christmas Collection for the food bank:

On Friday, we had our Christmas jumper / decoration Day where we were kindly asking of a contribution of either tins/food or toiletries for the local food bank or a monetary contribution towards Save The Children.

We were overwhelmed with the amount of items sent in and we were able to make up 56 bags of toiletries which all included:

Shampoo and conditioner
Shower gel
Toothbrushes
Toothpaste
Deodorant
Toilet roll
Wipes

We also included some extras including flannels, tissues, brushes, bubble bath etc. Many packs of toiletries were also donated and a huge amount of tins and foods were sent in.

The school prefects worked so hard to collect and sort all the items and a member of the Salvation Army came to collect everything at the end of the day on Friday. The collection will go a long way to help local families over the Christmas period.
