Band of the week is Lewys. We'll be listening to ‘Gwres’ and ‘Camu’n ôl’.
Language pattern of the week is the use of ‘weithiau’ (sometimes) yn lle ‘rhai weithiau’.

Monday:

Well-being Club for KS2 pupils during lunchtime.

Tuesday:

Pupil of the week assembly - 09:10 in the school hall.

PC Thomas will be coming to talk to year 6 pupils today following the 'Wings to fly' drama.

Year 6 pupils will be visiting St. Gabriel's Church today as part of their Religious Education lessons.

Art Club for year 4 pupils during lunch time.

Children's Welsh poet of the year, Casia Wiliam, will be holding a workshop with Miss Passmore's class this afternoon.

Cooking club for year 2 pupils - Miss Wena Williams' class. (3:30 -4:30)

Choir practice from 3:30-4:30.

Wednesday:

#WheelieWednesday: We're encouraging the pupils to come to school on their bikes/scooters today.

Welsh lessons with Learn Welsh Gwent.
9:15 - 11:15 in the school library.

Chess club for year 5 and 6 pupils during lunch time.
(The pupils will need to bring a packed lunch if they wish to attend the club.)

Science Club for year 4 pupils during lunch time.

Thursday:

Swimming lesson for Mrs Lewis' year 4 pupils.

LEGO / electric circuits workshop for year 3 and 4 pupils.

Urdd Swimming Gala in Pontypool Leisure Centre.
(Some KS2 pupils are competing in this - the pupils have received a letter already.)
The pupils can wear their sports clothes to school and they'll need a packed lunch please.

Football session for Miss Passmore and Mr Bridson's classes with Newport AFC.

Rugby Club for year 4, 5 and 6 pupils. (3:30 - 4:30)

Friday:

Violin lesson for Miss Hughes' year 2 class.

HWB Club during lunchtime for KS2 pupils.
